Days of Architecture

Architecture influences all aspects of everyday life. The Architekturtage (Days of Architecture) – Austria's largest event for architecture and building culture – allow every two years an intense examination of this topic as well as a look behind the scenes of architects' creating spaces. Through various formats, architecture is made accessible and the view of their everyday quality sharpened. An extensive program offers numerous opportunities to experience architecture at first hand, to discover something new and to understand the unusual. The program is designed by the houses of architecture of the federal states and is as diverse as their regions: directly on site – in the buildings, at construction site and office visits – architecture can be experienced directly. Meeting architects, builders and users, the development and impact of architecture can be experienced. Events for children and young people complete the program.
