Dietrich Ecker Research Scholarship
The Dietrich Ecker Research Scholarship (about € 3.000.-) is to promote scientific works and documentations that deepen knowledge of Styrian architectural history in the 20th and 21st century in a national and international context. The scholarship is awarded annually by the House of Architecture. The winner is chosen by a jury.

About Dietrich Ecker
Since 1966 Dietrich Ecker was one of the four partners of TEAM A GRAZ. After studying in Graz and the Netherlands, he worked with the architectural office Werkgruppe Graz, which in the 1960s, as part of the loacal architectural scene, paved the way for the future generations' freedom. First assistant at the chair of architecture and design of the TU Graz with Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Schuster, he hold the lecture "Modern Architecture in Styria" from 1973 to 1981. The scientific work accompanied him throughout his life.
