Think along. Have your say. Help shape it!
Open CallArchitecture is not a house.
Architecture is a discipline in which the realities of life are negotiated.
Architecture touches us all.
Especially in times of upheaval, the House of Architecture provides space for this debate - with professional expertise and in dialogue with the public.
We invite you: Think along. Have your say. Help shape it!
In favour of exchange instead of isolation, the will to create instead of stagnation, a built environment that is created from the experiences of many. The HDA is open!
This OpenCall is aimed at anyone who would like to actively participate in the design of our built environment. Architecture professionals, students, researchers, institutions and anyone interested in contributing their ideas and impulses can take part.
At the HDA, we deal with current issues relating to architecture, urban development and spatial planning, such as infrastructure, the theme of the Architecture Days 2026, town centres in rural areas and much more. Whether on the topics mentioned or beyond: we look forward to specific event formats, exhibition projects, campaigns as well as content-related impulses from research work, dissertations, book projects or experimental contributions.
OpenHouse!
On 30 June 2025, all contributions will be presented at the HDA, discussed together and further developed. Selected contributions will be integrated into the HDA programme and implemented in collaboration with the submitters. As part of the cooperation, the HDA will contribute its implementation expertise as well as the venue, including public relations and networking activities. However, the HDA can only provide project funding on a pro rata basis. For this reason, suitable financing options are worked out together as part of the respective projects.
Submission deadline: 9 June 2025
