The Bauherr:innenpreis (Client Award) was first awarded in 1967. In a synopsis spanning six decades, the results of nominated and award-winning projects provide an overview of architectural creation in Austria since the end of the 1960s. The - often passionate - search for qualities in architecture, open space design and urban planning solutions is the same, the forms of expression are different. They reflect the influences of the changing framework conditions of the planners.
In 2024, a total of 119 projects were submitted. All entries were reviewed on-site by nomination juries in the respective federal states, whose members were selected from outside the state in which they acted as jurors. During their visits, the nomination juries selected 23 projects, which were subsequently visited on-site by the main jury. This main jury ultimately chose seven award-winning projects.
THE EXHIBITION BHP’24 – ON THE ROAD SHOWCASES OUTSTANDING PROJECTS FROM ACROSS AUSTRIA. At the HDA, all nominated and award-winning projects of the Austrian Client Award 2024 will be on display.
OPENING
The exhibition will open on February 5, 2025, at 7 p.m. with introductions by representatives of the clients and architects of the award-winning projects mohr niklas architekten, as well as representatives of the nominated projects from Styria.
