Two days trip after the conference

Date: 09.10. – 10.10.2021

DAY 1: MARIBOR – VITANJE – LJUBLJANA – VENICE (440 km)

Departure from Maribor at 10 am., first stop Vitanje. Guided tour of the Herman Potočnik Noordung Center of Space Technologies.
Transfer to Ljubljana, visit of the new Islamic Center and a mosque, guided by authors Bevk Perović architects.
Guided tour (architect) round Ljubljana city centre with focus on Plečnik, modern architecture and contemporary Slovene architecture. In the afternoon bus transfer to Venice. Accommodation in a hotel.

DAY 2: VENICE – MARIBOR

Visiting Venice Architecture Biennale 2021.
In the afternoon return to Maribor, arrival in the late evening (approx. 4 hours bus transfer).
